From download to fabric in five easy steps đ§”
Every Loom Quiltery panel and coordinate is a ready-to-print digital file. No templates and minimal piecing: just print, sew and enjoy.
1. Download your files
Right after checkout, youâll receive an email with your download link. You can also download from your order confirmation page. Save the files to your computer, since uploading to fabric printers is easiest from a computer.
2. Check your print size and file
Each product page lists the print size in inches and centimeters, for example a 42" x 36" (106.7 x 91.4 cm) panel or a fat quarter. Your files are high-resolution PNG at 150 DPI, ready to print at that exact size. Please donât stretch or resize them, so your design stays crisp.
- Panels are supplied at their full print size.
- Coordinates and blenders are supplied as a single seamless repeat tile. The printer repeats it across the fabric for you.
- Need a JPG? Some printers only accept JPG files. Open the PNG and save it as a high-quality JPG at the same size before uploading.
3. Choose your fabric
For quilting, I recommend Petal Signature CottonÂź from Spoonflower, a medium-weight cotton that prints beautifully and sews easily. Any good-quality 100% cotton quilting fabric, poplin or cretonne from your preferred printer works well too.
Please note that printers donât print white. White areas in a design show the color of the fabric, so choose a white or natural base cloth. Look for 100% cotton between about 110 and 150 GSM. Lighter fabrics are softer, and heavier ones give more structure.
4. Upload to a fabric printer
Upload your file to Spoonflower or a printer near you. See my Find a Fabric Printer page for options around the world. When uploading:
- Choose your fabric and the size shown on the product page.
- Panels: place the design as one centered image, not repeated.
- Coordinates and blenders: choose the basic repeat layout so the pattern flows seamlessly.
Loom Quiltery customer offers:
Printing in Europe, the UK or the USA? Use code LOOM10 for 10% off at CottonBee until 31 December 2026.
Printing in South Africa? Quote code LOOMQUILTERY10 for 10% off the print price on your first order at Imaterial.
5. Order a swatch first (recommended)
Colors can look slightly different on screen and on fabric. Ordering a small test swatch before your full yardage helps you check that the colors are just right.
Washing tips
Prewash your printed fabric in cool water on a gentle cycle, and press it on the cotton setting before cutting. Most digitally printed cottons soften beautifully after the first wash.
A friendly note on use
Every digital quilt panel and seamless coordinate design sold at Loom Quilteryâą comes with a commercial use license. You may print the same design as many times as you need, for personal or small-batch commercial use. You may:
- Sew and sell finished quilts, wall hangings, play mats and nursery items made from the printed panel or coordinate

Reselling, sharing or redistributing the digital files themselves is not permitted. For print runs of more than 500 units of a single design, contact hello@loomquiltery.com for a volume license, and get written consent by email before you go ahead.
